Valet - Bell Staff

If yes, the position of Valet/Bell Staff is perfect for you. In the role of a Valet/Bell Staff member, you will:

Welcome Guests with a Smile

• Extend a friendly greeting, open doors, and offer assistance.

Provide Helping Hands

• Assist with luggage, guide guests to the front desk, transfer luggage to and from rooms, and share information about the hotel and local area.

Serve as Guests' Local Transport

• Utilize your driving skills and local knowledge to safely transport passengers to their destinations.
• Ensure the hotel vehicle is clean, fueled up, and report any maintenance issues.

Offer Assistance Where Needed

• Maintain the hotel entrance, fulfill special guest requests, handle room deliveries, and promptly report any observed issues to management.

Prioritize Safety & Security

• Adhere to the hotel's safety protocols, stay alert for potential issues, and communicate with management when necessary.

$15 - $16 hourly

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage as needed.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel amenities.
• Offer recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while interacting with guests.
• Ensure the lobby and entrance area are clean and welcoming for guests.

• 1 year of prior hotel or related experience preferred. A Chauffeur's License is helpful but not required; however, you must possess an excellent driving record, verified by the Motor Vehicle Administration report.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, Medium work -- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, ability to multi-task.
• The right candidate will possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms and will be able to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. The ability to push a full luggage cart is essential.
• The ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning is required.
• Weekend availability is a must
