Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, efficient Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Elite Primary Care & Vein Clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor. The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our primary care office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Embody our core values of open communication, service mindedness, and efficiency in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and approachable demeanor, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Handle phone calls, appointment scheduling, and patient inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Verify patient insurance details accurately and collect co-pays or payments as necessary.
  • Maintain electronic medical records with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff to coordinate patient flow and address any issues or concerns.
  • Assist with administrative task including scanning documents and data entry.
  • Keep the front desk area tidy and organized.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction at the front desk.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on open and transparent communication.
  • Strong service-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and experience with medical office software preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
