The ideal candidate will assist with various warehouse and shop activities, ensuring efficient and organized operations. This role involves a combination of primary duties in the warehouse and secondary duties supporting our ductwork fabrication and recycling efforts. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations:

  • Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receiving: Inspect and receive incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders.
  • Stocking: Organize and stock inventory in designated locations.
  • Pulling Orders: Accurately pull and prepare materials for job site deliveries.
  • Organizing: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Transporting: Safely transport materials to vendors and job sites as needed.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ductwork Fabrication Assistant:

  • Assist the ductwork fabrication team with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling ductwork components.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of fabrication equipment.

Recovery and Recycling:

  • Participate in the recovery and recycling of materials, following company protocols and environmental guidelines.
  • Ensure recyclable materials are sorted and processed correctly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or shop environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to [insert weight limit]).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
