The Stony Brook School seeks a part-time Aquatics Director to join our team starting on August 1, 2024.
The Aquatics Director will serve as CPO and oversee the management of pool rentals.
This position will temporarily report to the Director of Facilities until the Director of Auxillary Services is hired.

Specific Responsibilities:
 Serve as the Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
 Oversee all operations related to the pool.
 Coordinate CPO coverage as needed.
 Schedule chlorine deliveries.
 Maintain pool chemistry by adding chlorine and other chemicals as needed.
 Maintain logs as required by state and safety regulations.
 Collaborate with the facilities department to ensure proper pool operation.
 Obtain lifeguards as needed for school events.
 Schedule outside organizations and rentals.
 Ensure all compliance with outside organizations and rentals.
 Obtain necessary paperwork, insurance, agreements, etc., for rentals.
 Maintain the pool calendar.


Position Guidelines:
 Three (3) - Seven (7) hours per week; hours flexible as long as responsibilities are
covered.
 12 months/year
 Compensation is $10,000 per year paid over 26 pay periods.
