Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P., is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Aftermarket Parts & Customer Service Manager position within our organization located at our DTTP Waller, TX facility.

This position will support the overall growth initiatives for the Aftermarket parts and supplies business for both COD and Independent Distribution.

About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage and negotiate with vendors not only related to those products but also find other vendors and products that may be related
  • Interact with various departments and management and have regular interaction with the Regional Parts Sales and Business Managers and other marketing groups
  • Support the overall growth by the development of programs and promotions again working with both sales and marketing for equipment and parts.
  • Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, and promotional materials
  • Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay parts messages to customers
  • Investigate the performance of the parts marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the recommendations to management
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Nature and Scope

  • Works directly for the Director of Marketing of Aftermarket Parts
  • Works within a wide base of parameters specific to the aftermarket business segment.
  • Expected to have an immediate positive impact on business.

Knowledge and Skills

  • HVAC Product and Distribution background
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong experience with EXCEL – creating reports, etc.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and presentations
  • Attention to detail and high quality work
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proven track record of working cross functionally and collaborating with other departments
  • Previous sales experience

Experience

  • 5 plus years HVAC Product and Distribution experience is essential.
  • HVAC Sales experience – 3 plus years.
  • Other Distribution experience is helpful.
  • Proven track record of working cross functionally and collaborating with other departments
  • Previous sales experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired but work experience may be acceptable.

Physical Requirements / Working Environment

  • Limited Travel will be required (less than 20%)
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
