Job Title: Speech Coach

Reports to: MS/HS Principal

Function: The speech coach is responsible for guiding and supporting students in developing their public speaking skills through large group and individual speech activities. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate contest pieces and securing royalties as needed with program funds, scheduling and supervising practice sessions, registering for contests, supervising competitions, and maintaining the lettering system. Fundraising will need to be done with students as necessary to support the program including covering contest fees, royalties, and more.

Terms of Employment: Compensation ($3015.00) and duration of season are to be established by the Board.

Assessment: The job description serves as an assessment and is handled by the MS/HS Principal as needed.
