This is a place where you can grow personally and professionally.Summary: We are working with a busy, fast-growing, MA-based mechanical company that is looking for an HVAC Technician to join their team This position will focus on new construction and retro fits in both single-family and multi-family, as well as some lite commercial.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Install, repair, and maintain furnaces, thermostats, line sets, duct work, humidifiers, A/C, and mini splits for residential customers• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.• Follow building plans and blueprints.• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve HVAC emergencies• Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.• Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. 3 yrs. of HVAC experience
2. Understanding of the refrigeration cycle required
3. Knowledge of applicable Massachusetts codes
4. Knowledge of ductwork sizing preferred
5. Knowledge of low-voltage wiring preferred
6. Universal EPA license preferred
7. Experience with Sheet metal work preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Valid Driver’s License
2. Must have your own hand tools
3. Good time-management and people skills
4. Good references

Environmental Conditions: Residential environment at new construction, customers’ homes, and on the road between customers.Physical Capabilities:Must be able to handle the physical demands associated with HVAC work, including bending, kneeling, and working in a prone position. Carrying over 50lbs at times.
