POSITION – Patio & Garden Warehouse Worker

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st shift

We are looking for candidates that can work one Sunday a month on top of a M-F schedule OR someone who would be willing to work Sunday-Thursday every week. Example schedule:

Week 1: M-F 8am-5pm

Week 2: M-F 8am-5pm

Week 3: M-F 8am-5pm

Week 4: Sunday 7am-3:30pm, M-Th 8am-5pm

Week 1: M-F 8am-5pm

STARTING PAY – $14.00-$17.00 per hour DOE

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1-2 years of experience in shipping or receiving. Experience using a forklift for more than 6 months as part of their core job duties

Warehouse Associates will pick, pack and load customer orders and operate a forklift and motorized pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by picking, packing, and loading packages and pallets (manually or with power equipment) into trailers or onto the conveyor

• Receive shipments of product by unloading packages and pallets (manually or with power equipment) out of trailers or ocean containers

• Move product around the warehouse and into racking (manually or with power equipment)

• Perform daily and weekly housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment

• Follow all safety rules

• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum of warehouse- shipping and receiving experience, with operating a forklift being a core job duty for at least 6 months

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively and up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to learn and be a part of a team

• Sense of urgency

• Problem-solving skills

• A positive attitude

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
