Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
Keffer Mazda is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team in Huntersville, North Carolina. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on all makes and models of vehicles. This is a commission-only, full-time position in the auto industry. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with our team of technicians and service advisors to provide high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on all makes and models of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions
- Communicate with service advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of services
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all services performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols
- Continuously learn and stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniques

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
