Shipping Clerk

McCue Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient shipper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and shipping orders, ensuring that all outgoing shipments meet company standards and customer requirements. Reporting to the Area Team Lead, you will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to maintain a smooth and efficient shipping process while upholding a safe and organized work environment.

Key Results:

• Ensure 100% accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling outgoing shipments.
• Maintain on-time departure for all outgoing shipments.
• Achieve timely and accurate updates to shipping records using warehouse management system software.
• Maintain an orderly and clean shipping area, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication within the team to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Activities:

• Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
• Label and prepare shipments for carrier pickup, ensuring all documentation is correct.
• Record shipment details accurately in real-time using warehouse management system software.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently, performing daily safety checks on equipment.
• Keep the shipping area clean and organized, ensuring accurate logging of maintenance records and inspections.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are prepared and documented correctly and on time.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise shipping records and assist in regular inventory counts.
• Uphold a clean and organized shipping area while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Work closely with other warehouse staff to support overall operational efficiency and resolve any issues promptly.
