You support our team as

Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing advanced product and quality planning. Your responsibilities include ensuring the seamless and successful customer product launches through the proper application of APQP. As a Quality Engineer, you are authorized to take immediate actions to address quality issues that greatly impact our business, customers and suppliers.


Areas of Responsibility:

• Responsible for receiving tool and completing PPAP• Ensure proper application of IATF Standard• Implement interfaces between APQP, manufacturing/support resources, and processes• Responsible for conformity to product requirements and authorized to stop shipment and production if needed to correct quality problems• Specify the manufacturing and quality processes (including PPAP, MSA, FMEAs, Control Plans, etc.) to support customer production requirements

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers and suppliers

• Serve customer portals and coordinate immediate and corrective measures
• Create Q-alarm and trigger supplier complaints• Receive and lead the 8-D process (customer, supplier, internal)• Ensure incoming goods inspection and test equipment administration• Create work instructions and train production staff on quality requirements and standards• Create IMDS entries• Ensure machine and process capability studies• Adapt packaging data sheets concerning quality aspects• Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years relevant work experience


Skills and knowledge

• Proficient in MS Office • Experience with CAQ (Control Plan), MStation (Testing System), IGI (Incoming Goods Inspection) and CAQ-QMIS (Quality Management Information System)• Experience with PRO.FILE, SAP Basics, and database systems• Knowledge of IQS Basics or Advance, IMDS, and manufacturing processes• Ability to work in metric and inch systems• Strong communication skills at all levels with the ability to lead discussions in difficult situations• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with all areas of production
