Are you passionate about Fatherhood? We are looking for a Fatherhood Coach to provide and assist Fathers in the Polk County area by providing direct client management services through our Fatherhood program by providing direct client management services. BILINGUAL a +. This is a grant funded position.

The focus of this position is to promote responsible fatherhood through the provision of direct services, using an evidence-based curriculum. The selected individual should educate, inspire, and guide fathers, or father figures, towards an awareness of their worth as fathers within their
families and communities while helping them identify and address their barriers to being involved
and effective fathers. The goals of the position are as follows:
1) Increase the knowledge of parenting/fathering techniques and use of effective fatherhood skills
through individual services, resulting in an increase in frequency and healthy interaction with
their children.
2) Assist fathers to address issues that negatively impact their relationships with their children
and/or their children's co-parents.

JOB DUTIES

▪ Conduct outreach and participant recruitment to reach members of the target population of fathers, or father figures, raising children.
▪ Facilitate 24/7 Dad's curriculum.
▪ Conduct a fatherhood assessment and develop a service plan, which identifies needs and goals related to employment, education, child support/child custody, parenting, and personal health.
▪ Create and maintain up-to-date paper and electronic client records to include, but not necessarily limited to, case notes, sign-in sheets, pre-/post-tests, evaluations, and Certificates of Completion.
▪ Prepare and submit timely reports.
▪ Participate in outreach activities.
▪ Plan and implement special events for fathers and their children.
▪ Perform any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Associate Degree in Human service or related field preferred or 2 years of experience working
with families.
▪ Minimum of two years' experience facilitating direct client curriculums and working with
low-income, vulnerable families.
▪ Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
▪ Experience and competency working with diverse families and cultures.
▪ Ability to work evenings and weekends required.
▪ Computer literate in Microsoft products and data entry with ability to learn new software
applications.

within a team structure.
BILINGUAL a +
■ Prior experience with strengths-based assessments and Individual Development Plans.
■ Experience working collaboratively with child and family-serving organizations, schools, health
care providers and other community agencies.
■ Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong client engagement skills.
■ Knowledge about the Hardee, Highlands and Polk communities is desirable.

■ Must have valid driver's license, safe driving record, have reliable transportation and maintain
own car insurance.
■ Upon hiring, candidate will pass a level 2 AHCA background screening and drug test. Report
results may impact ability to be employed.
