Position Overview

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in SAP Procurement business processes.

The SAP Procurement Lead plays a critical role in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the SAP S/4HANA Procurement (Direct and Indirect)/MM module of an organization. This position is responsible for providing technical and functional support for the implementation and maintenance of SAP Procurement/MM module. You will be working with key business users to configure and modify SAP to meet business requirements using S/4 HANA Best Practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand client business processes, and provide expertise to streamline warehouse operations, improve inventory management, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 15-20 years of SAP experience in various asset-intensive and manufacturing environments

  • 2-3 End to End Implementation Experience in Sourcing & Procurement / Materials Management (MM)

  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Sourcing and Procurement

  • Experience in GEP Smart (Unified Procurement Software platform)

  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA (Brownfield Implementation Experience, especially ECC to S/4 Migration)

  • Experience in Greenfield Procurement
    Deep understanding of Direct Procurement, Indirect Procurement, Service Procurement and related Master Data Management processes

  • 10 or more years of experience with SAP Procurement Implementation, enhancement, and O&M support experience

  • Relevant experience in Inventory Management, Procurement Management, SAP Materials Management

  • Significant experience working with, configuring, and performing functional setup of SAP’s Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Service Entry Sheets, and Goods Receipts

  • Must have design and configuration experience in MM Master Data, Business Partner Sourcing, Procurement, Pricing, Inventory management, Physical inventory, Release Management, Version Management, Valuation and account assignment, Invoice verification

  • Strong knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing with sound understanding of SAP Ariba, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance , Sales & Distribution, WM/EWM and Transportation Management

  • Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Analytics Cloud

  • Knowledge of Inventory management: GI, GR, transfer Posting, Stock determination

  • Strong experience/knowledge on Source determination and Contract management

  • Strong experience in Pricing Procedure and Release strategy, and its configuration

  • Experience in handling CVI aspects of Business Partner and migration of legacy data

  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay

  • Knowledge on integration with Finance – Accounts Payables, SAP PP, QM, SD, etc.

  • Great analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to understand cross functional data


Nice to Have

  • Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification is an added advantage

  • Functional knowledge of e-Sourcing, Contract Management, Catalog and Risk modules is a plus
