Are you interested in joining a leader in the mortgage industry who offers stability and growth, ongoing training opportunities, and employee engagement? We're hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant who will work directly with and support our loan origination leadership staff. You’ll take hand-off leads from a couple of loan officers, take applications, schedule appointments, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Flexibility with schedule where you can take applications on some nights and weekends. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism. Compensation:

$41,500 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed
  • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items
  • Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
  • Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
  • Take Loan Applications and grab Docs for 2 loan officers
Qualifications:
  • College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2-3 years of professional office environment required, preferably as an administrative or mortgage assistant
  • Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
  • Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred
  • Comprehension of basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
