Events Coordinator

Under the direction of the Manager for Special Projects, the Events Coordinator will:
- Plan and implement all fundraising events
- Support other internal HCS internal and external events
- Write copy for fundraising
- Support annual appeals, mailings, and collaborative projects
- Assist with donor database management
This is a full-time benefited position with 30 - 32 hours worked per week. Requirements:- Education or training beyond high school related to event planning, fund raising and/or project support in the non-profit environment
- Two years' experience in a setting which required the use of a variety of administrative skills
- Solid experience with word processing, mail merges and databases
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including heavy use of Excel
