Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our IT Inventory Team. Based in our New York midtown office, you will be working in-office with our clients and internal teams to allocate network equipment and manage shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain storage room, including general organization/cleanliness and receiving incoming shipments
  • Maintain and update inventory system of internal hardware, periodically auditing hardware inventory and advising when replacement orders are needed.
  • Assist with allocating hardware for both internal and external projects / requests
  • Coordinate periodic pickups with hardware recycling company to dispose decommissioned hardware
  • Physically relocate packages and related inventory hardware (up to 50lbs) as needed.
  • Schedule and prep hardware that needs to be delivered via courier or Fedex/UPS
  • Periodically drop off packages at Fedex/UPS

Skills

  • Must be organized, personable, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be process oriented, able to both take direction and suggest improvements when appropriate
  • Must be both a team-oriented collaborator as well as someone able to work individually and take initiative
  • Must be able to work with a diverse array of employees

Qualifications

  • HS diploma
  • Familiarity working within an office environment
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs of equipment/boxes
  • Ability to commute to our mid-town office 5 days/week
  • Prior experience working within software systems a plus (Ticketing System, Inventory Management Software, and Microsoft Office Suite)
  • A great attitude and a willingness to learn from and contribute to our Inventory Team
