Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The AV Commissioning Agent is essential for the success of our AV Integration projects across various locations. This role ensures that all elements of the AV system solution meet design specifications, performance standards, and client objectives. The agent also provides technical support to the sales team and collaborates closely with the project manager to deliver an exceptional AV experience for our customers.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and verify system flow diagrams and ensure alignment with the Bill of Materials (BOM) and site requirements.
- Perform Labor Requirements Assessment based on site conditions and maintain up-to-date records.
- Review the Computer Aided Design (CAD) team's final technical plans before implementation.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop a Technical Scope of Work.
- Post-Award, participate in meetings to review the Scope of Work (SOW) and BOM with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate project adjustments and changes to the BOM and SOW based on site conditions or project specifications.
- Provide technical support in technical design, contract negotiation, material and labor estimations, and proposal preparations.
- Meet and continually engage with vendors to evaluate project methods.
- Offer interdepartmental technical assistance to ensure delivery of AV solutions.
- Conduct frequent site visits locally or via travel for commissioning and ensure optimal AV system performance.
- Provide warranty walkthroughs or onsite support as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years’ experience in AV integration and specification.
- Strong understanding of AV design and performance standards.
- Experience using D-tools or similar are a plus.
- Experience with Project management software like MS Project is a plus.
- Experience with Procore or similar are all a plus.
- Strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to coordinate travel with project teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A CTS certification (CTS-D or CTS-I) from AVIXA is preferred, but not required. One or both certification(s) will need to be obtained during employment with the assistance of the company.
- Accommodating to travel, about 10+ days per month (about ½ the month off/on), alternating with contractors to reduce time away and for PTO, sick, etc.
