Job DescriptionJob Description

Eka Healthcare is looking for an RN Acute Rehab to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed. 

Summary

  • Department: Acute Rehab Unit
  • Shift timings: 23:00-07:30 Hours- Monday to friday (5 Days/ 8 Hours) 
  • Per Week: 40 Hours
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. 
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • EOW, EOH; long term care, med/surg, at least 1 successful travel assignment for 12 weeks, EPIC
  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
