Job Description/Additional Details:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents with psychiatric needs in a long-term care facility, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Administer medications accurately and timely, monitor for side effects, and educate patients and families about medication regimes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical data.
- Respond promptly and effectively to psychiatric emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and uphold best practices in psychiatric nursing care.
- Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the client.
Requirements:
- Active RN license for NC state/ compact license
- BLS, Preferably from AHA
- Covid Vaccination Card
