Technical support troubleshooting unscheduled interruptions in production
Process improvements
Identify/Order repair parts
Budget development and compliance
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment within the food industry.
2+ years of experience as a lead or maintenance supervisor required
Demonstrate basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate employees.
Previous experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor required.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must be bilingual Spanish
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Knowledge and experience with GMP and safety regulations.
Must be able to complete and pass the skills assessment.
Checks the quality, quantity and timeliness of work of direct reports.
Interviews candidates for technician and mechanic openings and recommends hiring decisions.
Communicates and enforces compliance with company policies, programs and procedures.
Maintains discipline and recommends corrective actions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing environment with additional responsibilities within the office environment
