Job Description: Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor ensures efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes, meeting quality standards, deadlines, and budgets. They manage personnel, equipment, and materials for producing medical instruments and products.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a safe, ergonomic, and compliant workplace.
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily activities in production cells.
  • Monitor and evaluate production performance and efficiency.
  • Meet schedules and budgets to satisfy customer expectations.
  • Plan and forecast workforce needs.
  • Train, coach, and motivate production staff.
  • Review and manage area layout and workflow.
  • Identify capital needs and control overhead expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and suggest improvements to production processes.
  • Lead small teams in problem-solving and lean kaizen events.
Skills and Experience:


  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Experience in operations management with knowledge of production processes.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a focus on accountability.
  • Adaptable and resilient to changing production demands.
  • Self-directed and disciplined in planning and meeting deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work extended hours as needed.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or sitting for up to 8 hours.
Academic Requirements:


  • Associates degree or higher with five years of experience, including one year in a supervisory role. Advanced degree or related technical experience is a plus.
