We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Lafayette campus to direct and coordinate all academic activities at the Campus; this person will have responsibility for and will lead the Campus education efforts. If you are this person, we want to hear from you

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures and operates within state and federal statutes and regulations and within standards of accreditation at all times.
  • Conducts educational effectiveness assessments, and initiates improvement plans.
  • Serves as the Campus chairperson for curriculum development; approves educational materials for faculty and students.
  • Monitors student tracking.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and customarily and regularly directs the work of all employees within the Academics Department at the Campus.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to specific subject matter areas under his or her administrative guidance.
  • Provides suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, discipline, or any other change of status for an employee under his or her direct supervision to the Director of Campus Administration; suggestions and recommendations are given particular weight.
  • Acts in an advisory role for students.
  • Schedules classes; assists with assigning teaching and other school responsibilities.
  • Teaches courses as assigned.
  • Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.
  • Participates in student orientation sessions.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains professional and effective working relationships with all other Campus personnel.
  • Conducts his or her professional and personal life in a fashion that fosters a positive impression of the Campus and the Company.
  • Travels as required.
  • Performs the job on site when required. Remote work is appropriate when onsite work is not required. Subject to change if superseded by Human Resource policy regarding remote work.

Education/Experience Needed:

  • A master’s degree desired.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in an academic-related leadership role; expertise in educational philosophy.
