Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business unit strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide input for monthly/quarterly reporting to the Board and Executive Committee.
- Establish annual goals and objectives for the business unit, driving alignment with company goals.
- Drive the implementation of Lean principles throughout the organization.
- Ensure workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance.
- Cultivate transparent communication channels within the team.
- Allocate resources effectively to support strategic plans.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Uphold employee accountability and reward systems in line with company policies.
- Oversee production quality and delivery schedules to meet contractual obligations.
- Manage financial performance and budgetary adherence.
- Make bid-no bid decisions within delegated authority.
- Develop capital plans and oversee equipment procurement.
- Collaborate closely with program managers to address customer needs.
- Drive improvements in delivery timeliness.
- Lead the development of the annual Operating Plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical four-year degree
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing or related fields.
- Union experience is essential.
