Quality Assurance Production Support

Brief Summary of Job: The purpose of the quality technician is to ensure a quality product is being produced at all times. The Quality Assurance Production Support is also responsible for assisting with preventing any problems that arise before, during, and after productions.


Responsibilities

  • Complete quality checks on finished goods and packaging at various frequencies
  • Notify production operators of quality issues or product that does not meet specification
  • Assist with verification of metal detection checks, as necessary
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork on time
  • Ensure food safety and sanitary conditions of production areas
  • Report any unsafe or malicious behavior, as well as any unsafe or hazardous work conditions
  • Support the development implementation, review, and maintenance of SQF systems
  • Support the Food Safety and Quality Fundamentals
  • Support the Food Safety and Quality Plan
  • Interfacing with multiple production departments
  • Supporting other QA department needs, as necessary
  • Perform area sanitation tasks, as necessary
