What You Should Know About the LPN Truman House-New Philadelphia position:
  • This is a PRN night shift position at our Hospice Inpatient Unit
  • Shifts will be from 7:00pm-7:30am, with weekend rotation
  • The PRN hourly rate is $30 per hour plus night shift differential
  • We provide superior care and superior service to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.

What we are looking for:

An LPN who plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.

LPN Qualifications:

LPN's - Registered LPN with the State of Ohio without any board actions. One year of previous nurse experience.

  • CPR Certified
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.)
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
  • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
