Title: Receiving Assistant

Job Description:

Verify incoming deliveries and receive into accounting system for accurate payment of goods.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure goods are verified and properly received for payment.
  • Verify material transfers between warehouse and project sites.
  • Coordinate with vendors to correct delivery errors, shortages, and damaged goods.
  • Regularly report to Management.

Operations

  • Utilize systems such as Procore and Smartsheet in reviewing proof of deliveries and inbound logs.
  • Verify receiving documents and purchase orders match for goods receipts.
  • Report any discrepancies to purchasing department.
  • Coordinate with other departments to correct errors found with record keeping/document storage.

Position Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, experience with Smartsheet and Procore preferred.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of goods receipt and purchase order systems.
  • Exceptional documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to multi-task.

Work Conditions:

Reporting Relationship:

  • This Position reports to the Receiving Specialist.
