Job DescriptionJob Description

Columbia Woodlands would love to welcome a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring/maintaining all the landscape and performing a variety of duties to keep up with any maintenance issues that arises.

Responsibilities and Skills

  • Monitor and maintain the health of all plants
  • Mow grass, edge and fertilize Lawns
  • Water and feed plants
  • Install and maintain seasonal plants
  • Mulch, edge, and weed gardens and flower beds
  • Upkeep parking Lots, fountains, sidewalks
  • Snow removal
  • Maintenance experience is a plus (Fixing doors, minor plumbing issues, changing light bulbs, Etc.)
  • Prune and trim trees and bushes
  • Notice and deal with pest problems that could damage plants
  • Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
  • Knowledge of fertilizers
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift
  • Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
