Vincentian Child Discovery Center is hiring Childcare Teachers with all experience levels. The starting rate for this position is dependent upon educational credentials, and relevant experience.

We offer a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Childcare Teachers and $1,000 Sign-On Bonus for Part-Time Childcare Teachers.

What you’ll Do at Vincentian:

In collaboration with supervisory staff, the Teacher assists with the planning, development, and implementation of all classroom activities, overseeing teacher assistant and daycare assistant staff members. With warmth and compassion to all children at the daycare center, the Teacher promotes the social, spiritual, and intellectual growth of the children. The Teacher is responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, and development activities, specialized programs, and sanctioned discipline of the children. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records, cleanliness, and orderliness of the classroom.

About You:

Our Teachers must meet one of the following minimum requirements:

1. Regional accredited ECE focused ASB OR AST

2. AA/AS in ECE

3. AA/AS/BA/BS in related field with 18 ECE credits

4. AA/AS/BA/BS in an unrelated field with 30 ECE credits

5. Elementary Ed Degree with 12 ECE credits

Most importantly, all of our teachers are required to have FUN at work

About Our Work Environment:

In indoor classroom conditions, temperatures are that of a normal indoor environment. In outdoor conditions, temperatures may be as low as 25 degrees in the winter or reach as high as 90 degrees in the summer. Some humidity/wet conditions may be present. Noise conditions are normal but may reach moderate or loud levels during some activities.
