Description: Part Time/Seasonal Event Operations

Summary:
New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) is the New England NASCAR Cup Series racing facility in the Speedway Motorsports nationwide network of entertainment venues. Speedway Motorsports maintains a consistent focus on four core principles:

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking a highly-motivated and dedicated person to join the Operations Department. The primary responsibility of this position will be to work within the Operations/Maintenance teams with all track events and track rental events.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of track rental events including but not limited to setup/cleanup of events, fuel sales and track service needs
  • Assist in the operational execution of NASCAR week in June, including pre-race and post-race setup and breakdown, dirt track operations and general operational logistics
  • Assist in day-to-day activities for Operations and Maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Provide exceptional customer and fan services
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid motor vehicle license.

Hours: Vary between 7a.m. – 7p.m., seven days per week (event weekends will be required, schedule is flexible).

Duration: Approximately April 1 – October 31 (adjustable based on facility needs). Mandatory availability June 20th-23rd

Compensation: Hourly Pay starting at $15 per hour.
