Job Summary:
At Home Companions is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to work with a female client and her husband in Teaneck, New Jersey. This individual will provide personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. As a CHHA at At Home Companions, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provide essential healthcare support to our clients.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Part-Time NJ CHHA position at At Home Companions offers an hourly rate of $28.50, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we also offer a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting for clients
- Assist with medication reminders and administration, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens
- Accompany clients to appointments and help with grocery shopping and running errands
- Maintain open communication with clients, families, and healthcare team members
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of clients
- Attend ongoing training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CHHA in a healthcare setting
- Must be able to pass a background check 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently
