Humanitary Medical Center is looking for an experienced and friendly Dental Assistant that can work in a fast-paced environment. We are actively interviewing, and our team is waiting for the right candidate

Job duties: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive.

- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.

Perform various office tasks as necessary.

  • Proficiently make temporary crowns and bridges Packing cord
  • Providing assistance to the office and Dentist with daily operations as needed

Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Knowledge of Scheduling appointments

Maintain accurate patient records

Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic dental procedures such as cleanings and fluoride treatments

- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

  • Bilingual –Spanish and English
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
  • - Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and dental procedures
  • Active dental hygiene license in the state of practice
  • Experience with CAD/CAM systems for dental restorations is a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • - Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
  • Superior customer service skills
  • A high level of professionalism
  • Graduate of an approved dental assisting program with expanded duty functions.

Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year

License/Certification (Required)

X-Ray Certification (Required)

Work Location: In person
