• Weekly paychecks - $18.00 - $22.00/hour dependent on your experience and skills.

Responsibilities for the Carpenter Helper include:

• Basic demolition and preparation of job sites.
• Assist with drywall installation, finishing, patching and repair.
• Assist with alteration, repair, construction and maintenance of floors, stairways, partitions, and walls.
• Wood and Metal framing.
• Install drop ceiling grid and tile.
• Install cove base, install and repair modular carpet squares, LVT Tile and hardwood flooring.
• Interior and exterior surface preparation for painting to include, but not limited to sanding, filling holes, drywall, and wall repair.
• Clean up and general cleanliness of job sites.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for Carpenter Helper:

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• This position will mainly work 1st shift, Monday - Friday but may need occasional availability on different shifts/days.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of commercial carpentry experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual who has basic tool knowledge and experience and wants to learn a trade.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use work order systems.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Personal hand tools a plus.
• Ability to pass drug screen and FBI/BCI background check.
