Warehouse Delivery Driver - So Cal
We're seeking a highly motivated Delivery Driver to be based in our Anaheim office and join the Shipping & Receiving Department. This position is responsible for the daily delivery of equipment to both AMS.NET Warehouses, customer locations and AMS.NET customer job sites.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1.Safely drive delivery vehicle to deliver materials and equipment to customer locations and job sites.
2.Clearly explain contents of delivery to customer so customer is able to understand
3.Obtain required customer signatures
4.Enter data about materials into PSA and EBS
5.Perform various shipping/receiving duties as assigned
6.When not making deliveries, perform typical warehousing tasks
7.Follow all documented AMS.NET safe driving policies and procedures and California driving laws
8.Report any vehicle mechanical problems or concerns to Materials Manager
Skills/Qualifications:
1.Ability to safely drive delivery vehicle
2.Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
3.Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with both internal and external customers.
4.Ability to clearly explain and/or describe materials and equipment included in deliveries in a manner that a non-technical person is able to understand.
5.Ability to correctly complete required paperwork and obtain needed signatures from customer in a courteous manner
6.Ability to organize time and tasks effectively
7.Basic data entry skills
8.Ability to work as part of a team
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalency
•Minimum of 6 months experience as a successful delivery driver without any terminations
Additional Requirements:
•Ability to lift 100 lbs
•Ability to drive forklift
•Pre-employment background check required
•Valid California driver's license
•Excellent driving record
