Pool Repair Managers are customer-facing and are expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and to maintain our high standard of customer care. This is an office-based position.

As a member of the team, you will enjoy:

Compensation: $45,000 to $55, 000 annual salary + quarterly/annual performance bonuses.

Duties:

  • Owns the overall repair business for their territory and manages the daily operational activities of the repair team.
  • Responsible for revenue and profitability of the repair department.
  • Research and updates product and labor pricing to ensure profitable margins.
  • Spot opportunities to increase profits, such as upgrading equipment or adding to the customer experience with other products.
  • Ensures the repair team receives proper training and development of skill sets.
  • Responsible for hiring, disciplining, and terminating repair team employees.
  • Resolves escalated customer complaints/issues.
  • Schedules all repair work; optimizes repair workload and routing.
  • Quotes repair work (estimating and pricing diagnostic and break-fix repair jobs).
  • Manage the ordering and inventory of supplies and parts through several local suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of pool plumbing, electrical wiring for pool/spa heaters, and heat/cool pumps, preferred.
  • Must possess strong repair knowledge from time spent as a Repair Technician.
  • 1-year managerial experience required.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report.
  • Must have a valid license with 3 years of verifiable driving history and a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
