Receivables Management Systems (RMS) is a third-party service provider with over twenty-five years of collections experience. We pride ourselves on providing quality collection services to our clients with a customer-focused approach.

Summary:

The Research Specialist will be responsible for researching to establish the location of consumer debtors. This role requires the ability to work independently and with a strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth research to locate individuals with outstanding debt
  • Comply with internal policies/procedures and FDCPA/ FCRA regulations
  • Maintain files that detail correspondence activity
  • Prepare periodic reports, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of State, Federal and local laws relating to debt collecting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience with MS Office
  • 1-year Skip Tracer experience
  • Collection experience a plus
  • Familiarity with FDCPA guidelines
