Job description
California Closets is a renowned brand and an established leader in the closet industry. We are a rapidly growing, custom furniture manufacturer equipped with high-end CNC and wood working machinery for mass production in our factory in Hawthorne, NY.

If you have woodworking or cabinetry experience, a willingness to learn, and you are interested in manufacturing then we would like to speak to you

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Machine, cut, assemble components for cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
  • Assemble, clamp, and clean doors and custom manufactured components.
  • Hours of operation are 7am-3:30pm with occasional overtime as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Prior experience with basic woodworking hand tools is required.
  • Familiarity with sliding table saws, panel saws, drilling and inserting machines, edge banders preferred.
  • Prior experience working with sheet goods (Melamine products) is preferred.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and detail oriented.
  • US work authorization required
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Will be required to wear safety glasses and/or hearing protection.
