Nola Throws is a Mardi Gras Superstore that is seeking a full-time, year round, Retail Sales Associate for our Gretna location. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet each customer with a smile, and provide assistance while they are shopping
  • Enter sales into the POS system and balance daily transactions
  • Take responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
  • Fulfill online orders both for shipping and pick up
  • Drive sales by participating in targeted marketing promotions and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
  • Assisting with special events
  • Other tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
  • Willingness to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to efficiently use new technology and train others
