Horticultural Technician

Full-time compensation for our Horticultural Technician position will range from $17-20 per hour, based on experience and includes a full year of benefits. You'll have the opportunity to reach an average of 2,100+ hours each year without losing benefits outside of the traditional 42-week season.

As a Horticultural Technician, you will:

• Begin your day at the shop, planning, gathering tools, and traveling to job sites in our modern fleet of vehicles.
• Enjoy dependable daily shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility for Saturday work.
• Enhance your skills in plant care, mulching, pruning, and garden maintenance while seizing opportunities to expand your horticultural expertise.

The Ideal Horticultural Technician:

• Has at least one year of professional horticulture or gardening experience.
• Thrives in an atmosphere that encourages open communication.
• Arrives on time, excited to collaborate with the team.
• Can work in conditions that include heat, cold, dry, and wet weather.
• Is comfortable lifting more than 50 pounds, as well as twisting, bending, kneeling, and working on uneven ground.
• Has experience with hand tools, power tools, and horticultural equipment.
• Holds a driver’s license and can commute to [Location].
• Is comfortable completing state-issued drug testing.
