Client has an opportunity for a driven, hands-on, and highly proficient Production Manager. The Production Manager will manage production teams to achieve goals by effectively utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system including Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) database and Production Scheduler. Collaborates closely with Planning, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, and Machine Shop. Drives on-time completion in a safe and engaging workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulates short- and long-term business plans and goals ensuring alignment with Lean principles.
- Executes production schedules to ensure that planned orders are fulfilled and finished goods inventories are maintained at the proper level.
- Controls utilization of labor to ensure adequate production at required quality levels to fulfill production requirements and efficiently manage resources.
- Utilizes Systems to manage daily metrics; provides feedback and reports to V.P. of Operations upon progress of metrics. Ensures Production team uses Lumen and other technology resources as required to ensure accurate data is maintained.
- Monitors performance and expenses for area or responsibility and initiates corrective action as required to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage Quality Control/Lean team in setting specific Lean goals and initiatives.
- Builds team member capabilities with a culture of cross-training, motivating, mentoring, evaluating, and recognizing contributions.
- Responsible for the motivation and development of team to optimize performance and drive personal and professional growth.
- Manages team to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Ensures the fluctuating need for labor is aligned with orders and production requirements by making recommendations to scale up or scale down contract labor headcount.
- Analyzes production operations and workflow to develop improvement recommendations of output
