Position Summary: The Warehouse Manager manages day-to-day operations of Corvette Central’s warehouse, including personnel and functions related to receiving, order fulfillment, shipping & invoicing, kitting/light assembly, and inventory.
This is a full-time, exempt position. General working hours are 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. and additional hours when necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse performance and quality standards. (Goals/KPI’s)
- Determine work procedures and expedite workflow.
- Coordination of material flow planning and assistance with operational layout design with corporate operations group
- Work with departments to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with other functions such as sales and purchasing
- Review paperwork to correspond with all items associated with delivery, loading, and unloading of vehicles
- Participate in planning personnel safety and protection activities.
- Ensure facility personnel are in compliance with company policy, procedure, safety and quality guidelines.
- Complete reports related to production, quality, safety, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
- Identify, evaluate and correct any performance related issues with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Implement continuous improvement plans for productivity and efficiency, accuracy, performance measurement, communication, and employee and team coaching
- Directly managing and monitoring all personnel (25 direct reports) and equipment within the warehouse
- Includes scheduling and approving timecards and time off requests in payroll system
- Reviews resumes and participates in interviews for open warehouse positions
- Coordinates with HR for FMLA, Workers’ Comp, and disability leaves

Job Specifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/Logistics/Supply or related field is preferred
· 5+ years’ experience leading/managing/developing a team of associates in warehouse/transportation/distribution environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
· Warehouse shipping process
· Receiving, Quality Control, and Shipping via UPS/FedEx, USPS, and International Shipping
· Cycle counting/inventory control
Skills:

Abilities:
· Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution pulling, packing, and shipping orders. Must be able to meet required daily goals.
· Use and climb ladders
· Operate picker, forklift, hand truck, and RF scanner to move stock
· Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds consistently.
· Manager/Employees will be responsible for reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
