Azure Cloud IT System Administrator

W2 Contract to Hire

Hybrid, Los Angeles 90045

$80-110k/yr


We are an established global leader in designing and executing large scale competitions to solve humanitys greatest challenges.


We are looking for a Systems Administrator to be accountable for maintaining the technology infrastructure and supporting our users for their day to day and for overall IT efforts within the company.


Responsibilities


More than 70% of your time will be spent managing the IT Systems and Cloud SaaS applications. Other responsibilities for this position include but may not be limited to:

  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
  • Introducing and integrating new technologies
  • Performing routine audits of systems and software
  • Performing backups and restoring of data
  • Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Installing and configuring new hardware and software
  • Creating training materials and conductsecurity awareness trainings for end users
  • Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
  • Responsibility for security
  • Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the systems
  • Tuning Systems performance
  • Answering technical queries and troubleshooting any reported problems


Qualifications

  • 4+ years Systems Administration experience in a venture backed, start-up (preferred)
  • 3+ years administering Azure, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is required
  • 3+ years of experience working with Windows 11 is required
  • 3+ years of experience of working with MAC OS client
  • 2+ yearsof experience withcentralized Endpoint Protection Systems, Secure Web andEmail Gateways
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications is required
  • 3+ years of experience working with Patching Systems andEndpoint Management Systems (both MAC and PC)
  • Must work well in team environments
  • Have significant experience supporting remote telecommuter environment
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Bachelor degree with concentration in CIS is required
  • Azure Certification is a Big Plus
