YOUR TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE

As an Auto Technician - Diesel Mechanic at Garrett Auto & Truck Service, your day kicks off with diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and vehicle systems. You'll utilize your own set of professional tools in a workshop that operates smoothly and efficiently. Each day, you work alongside a dedicated team, tackling a variety of mechanical challenges and ensuring every vehicle leaves in top condition. Your routine will be consistent, with a clear focus on delivering high-quality service.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Driver's license and a state mechanic license
  • Full set of professional tools and a toolbox (no handheld toolboxes)
  • A positive, reliable personality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience repairing cars and light trucks professionally
  • ASE Certification (additional pay for more experience)

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position typically works Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
