Track 7 Brewing Company is looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual with a hop to it kinda attitude (pun intended) for our Curtis Park Taproom. Our servers have the awesome responsibility of serving our customers and are essential in achieving our mission of crafting unique experiences one beer at a time.


Position Summary:  Team Members are multifaceted individuals that are able to skillfully execute all aspects of the taproom including but not limited to: floater, counter, busser, barback, beertender.  Team Members must work collaboratively to support the team while proactively monitoring guest activity and providing a nurturing experience by serving beverages, selling merchandise, and connecting with our guests in a friendly, efficient, and brew-fessional manner.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Provide all encompassing guest service including counter, bar and continued table service and table maintenance.


  • Serve customers in a cheerful and professional manner by following Track 7 Customer Service Guidelines.


  • Share your knowledge and beer recommendations to our guests. Use suggestive selling techniques to offer specials and other types of promotions.


  • Accurately inputs orders, processes payments, completes guest tab transactions and tenders proper change to customers using Toast  POS.


  • Pours beers and serves guests in accordance with responsible Alcohol Beverage Control service guidelines.


  • Completes all opening, on-going and closing side work; Stocks/restocks work station with appropriate wares/items.


  • Clear, clean, sanitize and set-up tables for next guest.


  • Works diligently to avoid breakage and loss.


  • Follows procedures for preventing over-intoxicated guests and is able to resolve any concerns with potentially problematic customers.


  • Works well with other staff members in an environment that encourages strong team collaboration with production, sales, and administrative departments.


  • Keep the immediate supervisor informed of all problems or significant matters, take corrective action when necessary.


Requirements:


  • Food Handlers and RBS certification required within 30 days of hire.


  • Availability during nights, weekends, and holidays.


  • Ability to multi-task in a noisy, fast-paced, and distraction-filled environment.


  • Must be 21 years of age or older.


  • Work well under pressure.


Certificates and Licenses:


  • Cicerone Beer Server Certified preferred.


Language Skills:


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability:


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Education/Experience:


High school diploma/GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
