General Summary:

The gearbox technician is responsible for building gearboxes, preparing and assembling components, rebuilding, repairing and servicing gearboxes and other related equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for gearbox build schedule
  • Ensures gearboxes are completed in time for car build
  • Gearbox component lifing
  • This position requires extensive domestic travel throughout the year (approx. 100 days per year)
  • This role may require working hours outside of the traditional “8 to 5” working environment, including weekends as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • 5+ years of mechanical assembly, engineering or similar hands-on experience in professional motorsports.
