Landscaping (Summer Seasonal)

Summary: FivePine Lodge Groundskeeper is a member of our maintenance team performing landscaping and tasks related to care of the FivePine Lodge, campus and grounds. Pay starts at $18/hr and up based on experience. Some landscaping experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who has base knowledge, is self-directed, dependable and eager to learn. This is a seasonal position that is part time in the spring and full time during the summer.

FivePine Lodge sits nestled amongst the tall pines in Sisters, Oregon and features a small lodge, luxury cabins, a conference center, office space and spa. Our entire team is passionately devoted to the finest quality and service we can offer our guests and community. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Complete all tasks as assigned in relation to the landscaping and care of the FivePine Lodge, campus and grounds:

• Landscaping/Grounds keeping
• Problem Solving
• Be proactive- you spot it. . . you fix it

Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills)
Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered, and some on the job training may be available for the right candidate.

• 1 year landscaping/grounds keeping experience (preferred)
• 1 year maintenance experience (preferred)
• Must have a valid Oregon Driver's License and reliable transportation year round.
• Must be willing to be available for contact via cell phone.
• Individuals in this position will encounter season temperature changes, both indoor and outdoor, and may work in extreme weather conditions. Individuals may need to work at uncomfortable or rigorous positions for long periods of time in performance of maintenance tasks. Individuals may be required to work for extended durations for occasional critical maintenance activities. Regular standing, bending, kneeling, stretching, reaching, squatting and lifting over 50lbs are to be expected for this role.

Schedule

• During the spring & fall (April & October) part time work available
• During the summer (May-September) full time (40 hours/week)
• Day time shifts only (8am-4:30 and/or 10am-6:30pm)
