Kids Coordinator

Objective:

The Location Kids Coordinator is responsible for leading the Kids ministry at a specific location by equipping and developing a serve team to execute kids’ gatherings, along with partnering with parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their families.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead in the recruitment, coaching, and equipping of the serve team.
• Support in planning and executing Kid's ministry events.
• Implement the Kids Ministry curriculum.
• Oversee and manage inventory of supplies and other needs in the Kids' ministry using an allocated budget.
• Collaborate with parents to guide the new generation of children in knowing and following Jesus.
• Oversee the onboarding process, safety and security procedures, training, and care of the serve team.
• Lead and develop staff, apprentices, and interns at the campus (if applicable)
• Model discipleship by being a disciple-making disciple.
• Carry clear vision, values, and culture to serve team and staff teams

• Effectively steward budget and all resources related to your ministry***
• As required, attend staff and departmental meetings on time.
• Participates in training as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Position may require local travel.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
• Childcare experience is required.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, especially professionally dealing with parents and children; maintain cooperative relationships with administrative staff, church leadership, and members.
• Doctrinal beliefs congruent with Crosspoint City Church.
• Possess the ability to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication in various settings.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials.
• Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face to face.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
• Confidentiality of personal and church information is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - This position encompasses indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. It necessitates the capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and flexible movement. Occasionally, lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds with or without assistance may be required. Proficiency in operating a computer, phone system, and other office equipment is necessary.

Expected Hours of Work—This is a part-time position. The days and hours of work consist of Sunday Gatherings in Acworth and office hours to be determined weekly (25 hrs/week).
