Shelving / Storage Installer

Venice, FL - (Candidates willing to commute are encouraged to apply.)

Currently seeking Installers with experience installing wood and/or wire shelves and storage systems for homeowners and homebuilders, previous experience is REQUIRED. This position is based out of Venice, FL. A full-time position with benefits and PTO a company, transportation with a vehicle, must have basic tools and drill all other tools are provided.

Ideal candidates MUST have previous experience installing wood and/or wire shelves and/or storage systems for closets, pantries, etc. residential new constructions and/or renovations. Ability to do minor fabrication, able to measure, cut, size and assemble materials. Review daily work schedule, load vehicle properly with all products, tools and equipment needed for the day. Ability to measure and read blueprints. Able to troubleshoot onsite. Working independently and come up with solutions to challenging problems. Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen/background.

To qualify you must have the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid FL driver's license: ability to pass a background and drug screen.
  • Experience installing wood and/or shelves, storage systems, cabinets and other carpentry-based products.
  • Some knowledge on how to fabricate, able to measure, cut, size and assemble products.
  • Expertise ensuring truck is loaded with all products, tools and equipment needed to complete the workday.
  • Adhering to assigned work order, manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
  • Capable of completing jobs on time and within budget constraints.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain a positive relationship with Superintendents, other Contactors, fellow employees, and homeowners.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with or learn Microsoft 365 Application.
  • Ability to lift and carry.
