Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: [Seaford, DE]
Sign-On Bonuses:
- Experienced Nurses: $20,000

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides comprehensive care to patients with actual or potential acute care needs that require continuous monitoring. This role is ideal for experienced nurses and new graduates eager to start their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using ANA Standards and the Nursing Process.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing support, information, and direct care.
- Utilize medical equipment and technology proficiently and perform nursing procedures with technical competence.
- Educate patients and their families on significant self-care issues.
- Manage the inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 12 months of employment).
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (to be obtained during orientation).
Work Schedule:
- Flexible shifts including day, evening, night, or a combination based on departmental policy.
- Required to work at least three holidays per year.
- Must work weekends as needed.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
