GaN is searching for a motivated Recruiting Manager to join our Nationally growing team with a position based in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Recruiter, you will bring outstanding value by leveraging your subject matter expertise in finding and attracting highly skilled talent to GaN. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an aptitude to determine a candidate’s potential through effective interviewing techniques. They should have excellent organizational skills to nurture a pipeline of prospective candidates. Our ideal candidate has give years of technical recruiting experience specifically in the technology and engineering federal contracting space.


Responsibilities


  • Manage full life cycle recruiting process for technical positions, non-technical positions, and cleared positions while modifying current processes to establish efficiency.
  • Be a driving force to uphold GaN’s distinguished company culture.
  • Build a strong employer brand by providing an incredibly positive candidate experience.
  • Advise the organization’s hiring managers and leadership team on recruiting decisions and future hiring planning.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to align with the growing needs of the business to attract highly in-demand talent.
  • Attend job fairs and other events as a representative of the GaN.
  • Collaborate with managers to determine and understand the skill sets and technical requirements of the position.
  • Create, edit, post, and share job descriptions.
  • Identify, recruit, screen, and present appropriate candidates for positions to hiring managers.
  • Facilitate candidate interviews and analyze feedback from management regarding candidates before developing offer details.
  • Build and maintain a quality candidate pool of multiple skill sets for future job openings.
  • Assist in the management of social media accounts to represent the company brand.
  • Plan Open Houses and other Recruiting focused company events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Equivalent experience in lieu of degree.)
  • 5+ years of professional recruiting experience
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Highly adaptable to shifting priorities and changing environments.
  • Ability to travel for recruiting meetings, college visits, career fairs, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge and experience using Bamboo HR hiring
  • Knowledge and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in the Government Contracting, Aerospace, and Defense Industries.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Boolean searches.
  • Experience in a metrics-driven role.
  • Heavy involvement in the community and outreach.
