TITLE: Project Carpenter
REPORTS TO: Project Superintendent
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To support the Superintendent for any structural framing for projects as needed and directed.

REPSONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Able to review construction documents and to provide material takeoffs.
Field verifies site and building conditions and follow understand the existing building conditions.
Review submittals and field verify rough openings and materials as required.
Participate in the development and updates of the project schedule.
Prepare daily status reports and maintain records of all inspections and tests
Update and maintain the as-built drawings daily
Coordinate the weekly safety meetings and take meeting notes of each meeting
Implement the Quality Control procedures as out in the Indecon Quality Management Manual. Fill out forms in the manual for each of the subcontractor activities to ensure that high level of quality control is maintained
Determine the sequence of construction operations to ensure that the material and equipment are being installed consistently with the Superintendents direction.
Ensure that all work performed will meet the highest standards of quality workmanship
Ensure that all on-site activities are carried out in strict accordance with the Companys Loss Control Manual and all applicable OSHA safety regulations
Maintain orderly work areas that are secure from unlawful intrusion and protect the public
Walk the site each day and remove any scrape materials for the site and building daily.
Commercial equipment operation as needed and directed

Increased efficiency of installation compared to the construction schedule
Zero accidents and consistently safe jobsite for all personnel

Ability to manage one or multiple projects.
Knowledge of all Federal/Local laws and regulations in applicable field
Knowledge of Q.C. and Safety Standards
Ability to perform schedule maintenance
Ability to maintain As-Built Drawings
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Minimum 5 years commercial wood carpentry and framing experience needing little to no supervision
10 Hour OSHA Certification
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
Reliability, dependability, and flexibility
Commercial equipment operation experience (loader, lifts, bobcat, truck, etc.) needing little to no supervision
Must have a valid CA Driver's license
